Please note that if you want to apply the coating over the Lime Paint, it is very important that the Lime Paint has first been allowed to dry for at least a week. This will prevent white stains. Coating 1K

Applications: Suitable for application over our Lime Paint or Mineral Paint. -If you want to protect a kitchen worktop or other high stress surface, we recommend our Coating 2K.(soon online/)

Indoor/Outdoor: Inside

Application instructions: Apply in 1 coat with a block brush

Drying time: Minimum 4 - 5 hours. Fully cured after 7 days

Processing temperature: 10-30°C

Shelf life: Can be kept for at least 1 year in tightly closed original packaging. Store cool, dry and frost-free. Slight segregation after storage, shaking or good stirring is required.

Packaging: 1, 2.5 liter can

  • Can I use the coating for both Lime Paint and Mineral Paint?

    Yes our Coating is suitable for both Lime Paint and Mineral Paint. Please note that if you wish to apply the coating over the Lime Paint, it is very important that the Lime Paint has first been allowed to dry for at least a week. This will prevent white stains.

  • Is the coating Matte or Glossy?

    The Coating is not completely matte, it gives a very slight sheen.

  • Is the Coating always necessary if I want to wipe the surface?

    The Lime Paint is not removable, so you would need a coating for that. The Mineral Paint is easily removable, a coating protects the paint, but is not necessarily necessary. When applying the Mineral Paint in the bathroom or toilet, we do recommend a coating.

  • How do you apply the coating?

    You apply this with a block brush. Roller is also possible only there is a chance of streaking.

  • Can I also use this coating to protect stairs?

    No for that you need the 2K Coating

  • Can I also use this coating to protect furniture?

    Yes depending on what kind of furniture. Is it a cabinet or other furniture that is not used intensively, then 1K coating is sufficient. Is it a table, kitchen top or stairs then we recommend our 2K coating.
