Coating 2K

This 2K Coating provides additional protection for surfaces treated with Mineral Paint that are subject to heavy use, such as kitchen countertops, stairs and tables. Compared to the 1K coating, which is ideal for walls and general protection against moisture and dirt, the 2K Coating is stronger and more durable, making it suitable for high stress applications.

Coating 2K

Applications: Use for surfaces where Mineral Paint has been applied and need extra protection, such as stairs, kitchen countertops, tables, etc.

Indoor/Outdoor: Inside

Application instructions: Apply in 2 coats with a microfiber roller.

Step 1:
Shake Comp A thoroughly. Then, using a kitchen scale, weigh the appropriate amount of Comp A and Comp B, each separately in a measuring cup.

Step 2:
Add Comp B to Comp A and mix carefully with a stirrer. Note: Mix only what you will use in the short term. Never mix the entire kilo at once - the product will become hard and unusable.

Step 3:
Apply the first coat with a microfiber roller. Allow it to dry for at least 2 hours.

Step 4:
Apply the second coat within 12 hours of the first. Use a microfiber roller again. Has more than 12 hours passed? Then lightly sand the first coat and dust the surface before continuing.

Curing:
The coating is fully cured after 7 days and optimally resistant to loads and chemicals.

Drying time: The surface is gently walkable after about 2 hours and suitable for a second coat (apply within 12 hours). After 7 days the product is fully cured and resistant to intensive use and chemical influences.

Processing temperature: +10°C /+25°C

Finish:: Mat

Shelf life: Protect from frost. Store in a cool and dry place. Shelf-life up to 12 months in unopened and original packaging from production date. Keep out of the reach of children.

Packaging: 1KG (2 components)

Consumption: approx. 60-80 g/m2 per layer.

1 layer / 1 m²:

- Comp A: 58.3 g × the number of m² = number of grams of Comp A you need

- Comp B: 11.7 g × the number of m² = number of grams of Comp B you need

Mix ratio: 10/2 (+10% water optional)
